February Updates: Upcoming Events, Call-for-Entries

Hello all! Long time no talk. Once again I'm rising from the ashes to talk about upcoming events, general art things, and call-for-entries.

  • As mentioned back in December I'll be at Toronto ComiCon and TCAF this year (March 18-20 for ComiCon, and May 14-15 for TCAF, respectively). Toronto Comicon will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Center: tickets to the event are still on sale, but time's running short. You can find the link for them here. TCAF has free entry and a great lineup, so I expect to see you all there! I definitely recommend following their official feed for important updates and info about the 2016 event.
  • Not much else to report for the month of February, but a call-for-entries has been issued by History + Art = Peace, run by ALPHA Education. ALPHA is looking for artists/writers to submit original work centred around the theme of "sustaining hope" while addressing human rights violations during WWII in Asia. Prizes go up to $1000, and the contest closes on July 8, 2016. Looks interesting, so I'd recommend checking it out. The full details on the contest can be found here
  • The art on my website has been updated, but I shall continue to remain a hermit while I prep for the shows. My sincerest apologies, as such.

That's all for now.
