I've returned! Happy autumn, and hope you're all having a wonderful October. As mentioned back in May I have some rather big announcements on the horizon unrelated to art, and that rather big announcement is that I've moved from Ontario to BC. I'm now based in Nelson in the heart of the West Kootenay Mountains, and after a long, arduous trek across the country I'm once more immersed in art.Read More
Before I get into my recap of the event, I just wanna say that TCAF was a blast.
No, for real. I've done other conventions before - and I've been going as a visitor to TCAF for years - but this was the first time that I'd tabled there as an exhibitor, and I've got to say it was by far the best convention experience I've ever had. I'm honestly a lil' bit shocked by how much I enjoyed it.Read More
It's heeerrreeee. Making this post a bit too close for comfort, but I was waiting for all the details to arrive (and they finally have). As mentioned several times over the past couple months (time really flies), I'll be exhibiting at TCAF this year. TCAF is this weekend from May 14-15 at the Toronto Reference Library. Entrance is free, so the more the merrier. My table is 263, and I'll be on the 2nd floor.Read More
So I'm back and well-rested from last week's Toronto Comicon, and now that I am I'm getting into the swing of things by answering the backlog of emails that built up over the weekend. I've never tabled at Toronto Comicon before, so this weekend was definitely a learning experience, and I didn't quite know what to expect.
Got some exciting news about upcoming events and products this month!
As mentioned previously, I will be at Toronto Comicon from March 18 - 20 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. I will be selling comics and prints in the Artist Alley section of the convention, and my table is A125. The second print run of Scrap - a comic collaboration done in partnership with Zoe Maxine - will be available for purchase!Read More
Hello all! Long time no talk. Once again I'm rising from the ashes to talk about upcoming events, general art things, and call-for-entries.Read More
Apologies to all for the last month and a half of radio silence. Canzine was wonderful, winter's unseasonably warm, and I'm about to lock myself away on a comic-binge, but I wanted to make a special post regarding upcoming events for the 2016 year. I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be tabling at Toronto Comicon and TCAF 2016.Read More
Just a final reminder to all my followers: I will be at Canzine Toronto on October 17 (tomorrow) from 1pm to 7pm, selling prints, comics, and zines! I'm clearing out a lot of my old stock, so I've got some really great deals this year.
I am phasing out my All Dolled Up zine, and all my sticker packs. Each item will be on sale for $2 apiece, so get them now while you can. Once they run out, they're not coming back.
I'm also selling the following prints at Canzine. All prints are 11"x17" full colour, and are 1 for $15, 2 for $25, or 3 for $20, so the more you buy, the cheaper it is. The 3 for $20 is a Canzine special - I almost never sell prints this cheaply, so pick some up!
I have a few copies of Apple Darling left, which are $6 apiece. Supplies are very limited.
My newest zine, So You Want to be a Hero, is finally in stock! Each zine is $4, and includes a special fold-out print on the back! Unfortunately, my joint-comic with Zoe Maxine, Scrap, will not be in stock.
Canzine Toronto is being held at The Art Gallery of Ontario, 317 Dundas St. West. Admission is free, and Canzine is a one-day event, so make sure to stop by tomorrow, and I'll see you there!
Just a quick reminder about this month's upcoming events! As previously mentioned, I'll be at Canzine on October 17th from 1pm to 7pm, selling prints, comics and zines.
